  • The tabernacle was a house for the Lord and was made of Thread. Our desire is that our church would be a place for His presence; a home for the Lord in Cleburne.

  • Sundays at Thread are powerful, energetic, encouraging, passionate and full of life!

    We are in Cleburne, and currently meet at The Cleburne Conference Center. When you come in, someone will greet you and help direct you if you have kids to our kids ministry.

    We call our services, encounters because the center of our Sunday is to encounter the Lord.

    At Thread, we focus our full attention on Him, which means we cater every aspect to attract the presence of God and make our church a resting place for Him.

    It’s His house, not ours, so we let him be the center of our attention.

  • We have an incredible, safe and presence driven kids ministry where your kids will have fun, learn about the Bible, and encounter the Lord.

    Thread Kids is available for ages 0-12!

  • Thread is a non-denominational church, but that does not mean that we are on our own.

    We are a part of The Presence Driven Church Network and are covered by our apostolic elders, Pastor Landon Schott, Senior Lead Pastor of Mercy Culture Church in Fort Worth, TX and Pastor Russell Johnson, Lead Pastor of The Pursuit NW.

The vision of Thread came out of our pursuit of Jesus and a love for the region. The heart of our church is that the Holy Spirit would be welcomed into every region in Cleburne, TX.

Our senior pastors, Alex and Brenna Burkins, have a heart to help people encounter God and spiritually grow. They have two sons, Silas and Noah.
